It is different from adding a text overlay and different from OCR or image-to-text extraction. - Users enter the current visible words and replacement wording. An optional brush mask can narrow the target area. - The AI tries to blend replacement wording with surrounding font style, color, spacing, lighting, texture, perspective, and background. - The first login grants one lifetime low-quality preview credit per account with 512px output. Additional edits require paid credits. - Paid credits support repeated edits and 2K output. Generated downloads do not add a ChangeTextImage watermark. - Google login is the default account path when account features are configured. - One-time credit-pack checkout may use Creem or PayPal; the active provider is shown before purchase. - Signed-in Dashboard downloads for stored generated outputs may expire after 7 days. ## Limits and Best Results - AI image editing is probabilistic. Exact font recovery, perfect background repair, and error-free results are not guaranteed. - Clear, straight, high-resolution text with enough surrounding background usually works better than tiny, blurry, angled, or heavily compressed lettering. - If a PSD, Figma, Canva, or another layered source file is available, editing the original text layer will usually produce the cleanest result. - Every generated result should be reviewed for wording, typography, background repair, layout, and truthful context before publishing. ## Privacy and Retention - Raw uploads, masks, and private queued edit instructions may be retained for processing and recovery for up to 168 hours. Queued instructions are cleared when a job reaches a terminal state. - A separate encrypted audit copy of original text, replacement text, and whether a mask was supplied may be kept to investigate failures. It is deleted for successful jobs and retained for up to 7 days after a failed, refunded, or expired job reaches its terminal state. - Generated output images may remain available to signed-in users for up to 7 days. - Ordinary generation metadata may be retained for up to 30 days, and operational logs for up to 30 days. Payment, credit, security, and abuse audit logs may be retained for up to 180 days, and daily aggregate event statistics for up to 180 days.
